1400 UTC 8 May 1999 to 0400 UTC 9 May 1999. (7AM to 9PM PDT Saturday)
{02SAT05:1400:840}

OBJECT:
Stations outside of Oregon to work as many Oregon stations in as many Oregon
counties as possible. Stations in Oregon work anyone.

EXCHANGE:
Oregon stations send QSO number and county.
Stations outside of Oregon send QSO number and State, Province, or Country.

QSO POINTS:
Each complete Phone contact is worth 2 points.
Each complete CW contact is worth 3 points.
The same station may be worked for QSO points on each band on both modes.
Portables and mobiles count for QSO points and Multiplier credits in different
counties.
Special event station K7O counts 50 points, CODXC club call K7ZZZ counts 100 points.

MULTIPLIERS:
Oregon stations count states (50) and Canadian provinces (VO/VE1-7 and VY1/VE8),
total of 58, plus DX countries. All others use Oregon counties.
OR stations on a county line may be claimed as a multiplier for any or all of
the counties they give in their exchange. Number each multiplier as worked.
Each multiplier can be counted once on CW and once on SSB regardless of band
(maximum total of 72).

SCORE:
The score is the total number of QSO points multiplied by the total number of
multipliers. Power Multiplier: If all QSO's were made using 5W or less, multiply
your score by 5; if all QSO's were made using less than 150W, multiply your score
by 2; if any or all QSO's were made using more than 150W, multiply your score
by 1. Mobiles total their scores from each county.

FREQUENCIES:
160, 80, 40, 20, 15, 10, 6, and 2 meters.
WARC band contacts do not count.
Suggest CW on 1805 and 40 kHz up from band edge.
Phone on 1815, 3850, 7230, 14250, 21300, and 28450 kHz.
Novices 10 kHz up from band edge and 28450.
Try CW on the half hour. 160 meters at 0300 UTC, 80/75 meters at 0200 UTC.

CLASS OF ENTRY:
Single-Operator, Multi-Single, Oregon County Expedition, Mobile, and Novice/Tech.
Multi- Stations may be worked once on CW and once on Phone per band.
Single-Operator and Multi-Single entries are allowed only one transmitting signal.
All contacts must be simplex.

Oregon stations that change counties are considered to be a new station and may
be contacted again for point and multiplier credit. Oregon stations operating on
a county line may be counted only as one QSO.
Mobile is a station that is self-contained, capable of legal motion (street, water,
or air) while operating, motion optional.
A county expedition is an operation from a temporary location using temporary
antennas installed for the contest period, using temporary antenna supports
(natural supports like trees permitted).
A Novice/Technician entry must use a Novice/Technician callsign and operate
exclusively within the Novice/Technician bands.

Logs not showing power output category will be listed as high power.
