 Objective: 
-----------
Provide the opportunity to work as many Kansas counties or grid squares 
as possible and provide all Kansas amateurs the opportunity to work 
other states and DX. 


 Bands of Operation: 
--------------------
All legal portions of the amateur bands except WARC. Please be considerate 
of other amateur operators and nets of adjacent frequencies. 


 Categories: 
------------
Stations may be single or multiple operator. Stations may be fixed location 
or mobile. Stations may operate HF and VHF+ concurrently. 

Kansas Station: 
A station operating within the boundaries of the state of Kansas. 

Non-Kansas Station: 
A station operating outside the boundary of the state of Kansas, but within 
the 48 continental United States. 

DX Station: 
A station operating outside the continental United States and defined as an 
active country on the DXCC list.  


 Exchange and Logging: 
----------------------
Stations may be worked using different modes in the same band with credit 
for each contact. Mobile stations may be worked in different county (HF) or 
grid square (VHF+) in the same band and mode with credit for each contact. 

Kansas Stations: 
HF Kansas stations will provide their call sign, county of operation, and 
RS(T). Logs should show date, time, mode, call sign, state or DX location 
and RS(T) for each contact. VHF+ Kansas stations will provide their call 
sign, grid square of operation and RS(T). Logs should show date, time, mode, 
call sign, grid square of contact, and RS(T) for each contact. 

Non-Kansas and DX Stations: 
HF Non-Kansas and DX stations will provide their call sign, state or 
country, and RS(T). Logs should show date, time, mode, call sign of Kansas 
station, county, and RS(T) for each contact. VHF+ Non-Kansas and DX stations 
will provide their call sign, grid square of operation, and RS(T) for each 
contact. Logs should show date, time, call sign of Kansas station, grid 
square, and RS(T) for each contact.  


 Scoring: 
---------
Add HF score to VHF+ score for High Overall Score. 
Add 1000 bonus points for working Special Event Station KS on each band. 

HF: 
1 point for each contact on SSB. 
2 point for each contact on CW. 
3 point for each contact on RTTY, SSTV, or other digital HF mode. 
Multiply total points by different states worked (max 48) multiplied by 
different DX countries worked. DXCC list applies. 

VHF+: 
1 point for each contact on 2 meters. 
2 points for each contact on 6 meters or 220 band. 
3 points for each contact on 440 band. 
5 points for each contact above 1 GHz or any contact in the VHF or UHF 
bands using ATV, digital (including packet), or EME. Multiply total points 
by number of different grid squares worked.

High Overall Non-Kansas Score 
High Overall DX Score 
High Overall Score in Region  through 9 
High VHF+ Score 
High VHF+ Mobile Score
