Since 1957, the CQ-M Contest is organized and sponsored
by the Krenkel Central Radio Club of the Russian Federation,
                     P.O. Box 88, Moscow, Russia.

The Krenkel Central Radio Club of the Russian Federation has the honor to
invite all radio amateurs from around the world to participate in the 44th
annual CQ-M ("Peace to the World") International DX Contest - in May, 2000.

The primary goals of the CQ-M Contest are to unite people in peaceful
coexistence, foster mutual understanding, and engage in sportsmanship

 During the contest:
All multi-band categories may also utilize radio amateur
satellites. These QSOs count as an additional band.
All multi-band categories must remain on the same band for at
least 10 minutes after the first QSO has been made.
All mixed mode categories can make only one QSO with the same
station on that band. For example, if a QSO with a station is
made on a band by using CW, a second SSB QSO gives neither
points nor multipliers on the same band.

6. Exchange of RS, RST or RSV, and QSO serial number (starting from
   001) is required for all contacts.

7. Scoring:
QSO with own "P-150-C" country, 1 point.
QSO with another "P-150-C" country, in the same continent, 2 points.
QSO with another continent, 3 points.

 SWLs
Complete logging of one station, only the callsign of the second
   station, 1 point.
Complete logging of both sides of a QSO, 3 points.
The same callsign may be logged 10 times on each band.

8. Multipliers:
Each country in the "P-150-C" award country list counts as a multiplier
only once on each band. SWLs have no multipliers. For "P-150-C" specifics
   see footnote below.

9. Final score:
The final score is the sum of QSO points on all bands, multiplied
by the sum of multipliers on all bands. In other words, you should
calculate (1) the sum of all QSO points,
             (2) the sum of all multipliers, and
             (3) the product of (1) times (2) is your final score.

10. Awards:
Special trophies will be awarded to the worlds top scoring stations
    in the B1, B2, B3 and C categories.
Medals will be awarded to each top scoring stations in each
    continent in the B1, B2, B3, C, D and E categories; to the world's
top scoring stations in the B4 and F categories, if at least five
logs are received by the Contest Committee.
Certificates will be awarded world's top ten scoring stations, each
continent's top three, and each country's winner in each category
    B1, B2, B3, C, D and E; each continent's winner and each country's
winner in each category A, B4, and F.

11. Disqualification:
Violation of amateur radio regulations in the country of the
    contestant, or the rules of the contest; unsportsmanlike conduct;
taking credit for excessive duplicate contacts; unverifiable QSOs
or unverifiable multipliers; excessive number of incorrectly
logged or unique calls will be deemed sufficient cause for
    disqualification.

    and final.
