Type of Competition:

all licensed men and women operators worldwide are invited to participate.
YLs work OMs, OMs work YLs only; no crossband operation. No net contacts or
repeater contacts. Work stations only once per band

NOTE: Since band allocations in other countries are often different than in
      the USA, NA OP's should look for DX OP's in other parts of the bands

Points:
-------
- score each band seperately. One (1) point is earned to each station worked
  on each band. YL's count only OM's; OM's count only YL's. Add together the
  QSO points earned on each band
- multiply the number of QSO points by the total number of different ARRL
  sections/VE provinces/Countries worked
- each contestant using power output (AT ALL TIMES) of: 100 Watt or less on
  CW or 200 Watts PEP or less on SSB multiply the score claimed in (B) by:
  1,5; the low power multiplier. Those not using low power are not entitled
  to a power multiplier and are limited to maximum power output of 750 Watts
  on CW and 1500 Watts PEP on SSB

Logs:
-----
all logs must show your ARRL section/VE provinces/Countries to qualify for
awards.For each QSO, logs must show: call of station worked, QSO # send and
received, RS(T) send and received, ARRL/VE province/Country of station
worked, time, band and date. Logs must also state the power output and the
operating breaks taken. If you have 200 or more QSO's submit a seperate log
for each band and submit a dupe sheet. Remember to file seperate logs for
each contest. Logs must show claimed score

Awards:
-------
first place Phone YL cup, OM cup; first place CW YL cup. The second and third
place YL and OM winners in each contest will receive certificates. The winner
of the Phone contest cup is eligible to win the CW cup. Certificates will be
awarded to the high YL and OM Phone and YL and OM CW winners of each US and
VE call district and country; provided there are at least 10 valid contacts
on the log
