World Skiing Championship 1995 (Sierra Nevada, Granada, Spain)

sponsored by the CTCA of Andaluca (with the colaboration of the Territorial
Section of the Province of Granada)

Objektives:
-----------
this DIPLOMA is created because of the celebration in 1995 of the WORLD
SKIING CHAMPIONSHIP in the Sierra Nevada, Mountains of Granada. Its main
objective is that all the amateur radio stations in the world can
participate, if they wish t

Participants:
-------------
all legal amateur radio stations with an official license to work on the
proposed bands and frequencies

Duration:
---------
eight weekends, divided into two cycles of four consecutive weekends each.
First Cycle: From the 3rd weekend os September (days 17/18) until the 2nd
             weekend of October (days 08/09).

Second Cycle: From the 5rd weekend of October (days 29/30) untill the 3rd
              weekend of November (days 19/20).
The timetable will be set from Saturday at 00:00z until Sunday at 24:00z.
In the two weekends between both cycles, there will be two HF International
Contests (CW and SSB respectively); their basis will be published shortly

Bands:
------
80m 40m, 20m, 15m, 10m
using the apropriate segments recommended by the IARU for contests

Mode:
-----
SSB and CW, indistinctly

Exchange:
---------
RS/RST. - EG stations, besides RS/RST, will be given one letter (for
instance: 59/M, 599/O) and that letter will be used by the other stations
to compose the sentence "MUNDIAL ESQUI SIERRA NEVADA".

Points:
-------
a) QSO with the main station EG95SN: 5 points
b) QSO with the special stations EG7???: 2 points
It will be possible to increase the punctuation if you:
- Construct the mentioned sentence in the same band and mode
- Obtain complete words in the same band and mode

The punctuation will be as follows:
- Complete sentence: 500 points
- Each word: 50 points
If you receive the punctuation for the whole sentence, no points will be
awarded for any independent word

Punctuation:
------------
Punctuation will be independent for each cycle and will be the sum of the
points of the QSO`s, the points for obtaining the sentence, the words and
the Andalucian Provinces in all bands and modes during the four weeks of
each cycle. They final result will be the addition of the points of both
cycles

Remarks:
--------
Each station can be contacted only once in the same band and mode during
each weekend. For the construction of the sentence each week the stations
EG95SN and EG7??? will use a different word, and so four weeks of both
cycles will be necess ary to complete the sentence. The main station EG95SN
will always give the first letter of each word. The other letter will be
facilitated by one or several EG7??? stations. If you contact any station
that gives a letter that you have had before in the same band and mode, this
will be ???

List:

a) The lists will be separated by mode and band
b) In the logs, the following items will be indicated: date and time (UTC)
   of the QSO, call sign, RS/T/Letter, sent and received, punctuation for
   the QSO and complementary punctuation. In the section of complementary
   puctuation there will be a reference to the provinces, words and sentence
   (25, 50 or 500). This punctuation will correspond to the line of the
   mentioned items. In case that one single contact grants two different
   punctua
c) It will be necessary to send an abstract with information about the full
   name and address of the participant, his/her call sign, punctuation and
   a signed statement, making clear that all the rules of the contest and
   the Amateur Radio Station Laws ha ???
