Hello there,

I want to ask a few questions to the sun user community.

 i) How do sun-clones get accepted in the companies.

 2) What is the main reason people buy sun clones ?
Is it the cost ? how much savings over the original Sun price ?

Is it the value added service ?

Or is it because Sun as a company has become too big that they
cannot respond to small accounts and the backlog is 3 months from the
day you order.

3) How many companies are manufacturing these sun-clones ? In fact, a
company representative recently called us that there are not many companies
selling sun clones. But any way, I thought it will be a good idea to
post this question to the internet.

4) Are these True sun clones ? meaning they are exactly the same as original sun
systems. How is the reliability of these systems.
What do I gain by buying these clones and what do I loose.

5) How is the after sale service ?

6) Any experiences you as may have with the clones. would be very much
appreciated ?

7) Is there any caveat if I decide to buy one of these because of the
cost. And later on I may have to hide my face from the group because
I made a wrong decision ?

I would really appreciate if I can get some feedback. I may post the
summary if the users want it to be added to FAQ

Thanks

Andy Rastogi
