I got here through dejanews.

I'm installing Minivend, and need to have it use GDBM instead of NDBM.
I have GDBM sitting there, but don't know how to make minivend recognize it.
There is a config.h file in a directory called 'src', where I suspect maybe
I need to add an include line or something. All that has in it is:

/* config.h.  Generated automatically by configure.  */
/* config.h.in.  Generated automatically from configure.in by autoheader.  */

/* Define as the return type of signal handlers (int or void). */
#define RETSIGTYPE void

/* Define if environ is declared in unistd.h */
/* #undef ENVIRON_DECLARED */

/* Define if you have the socket library (-lsocket). */
/* #undef HAVE_LIBSOCKET */

Doing a 'make minivend.pl' produces a message saying it is up to date.

Just hoping someone here is familiar with the situation from previous
experience with it, and could clear this up for me.

Please cc to my email address if you would please. Thanks.
