A slightly updated version of kanjidic is now available on
pub/nihongo on monu6.cc.monash.edu.au.

It differs from the version released last week, in that a
few mistakes in the flagging of "general use" kanji have
been rectified (G8), and 282 of the "jinmeiyo" kanji are now
flagged (G9). [The other two jinmeiyo will be included
when the latest version of JIS Level 2 is available to me.]

Also available on monu6 is the updated "kinfo.zoo" file, which
contains the data files derived from kanjidic for use by
my MSDOS jdic and jreader programs. Note that at this stage jdic
cannot look up a kanji by the new codes in kanjidic (unicode,
Halpern code, etc.). jdic and jreader simply display these fields
as part of the "MEANING:" display. Also, the greatly increased
number of yomikata now that kanjidic has a pretty full set of
okurigana means that sometimes the kun reading line overflows.
Sorry, if there is ever a version 2.2 I'll fix this.

My thanks to Jeff Friedl and Ken Lunde for this polishing of
kanjidic.
