			REPORTING BUGS IN XDT
		    ----------------------------

The Xdt library is currently developed in a Linux environment. Bugs
probably exist under Linux, but almost definitely exist in other
environments. If you think you have found a bug, please do the following:

1) Verify that your bug is not already documented in the file KNOWNBUGS.

2) Verify that the bug is an Xdt problem, as opposed to a problem in
the Intrinsics, Motif, Xmt, or some other external library.

3) If possible, write a small test program that reproduces the bug.

4) See if you can find a fix for the problem.

5) Fill out a copy of the bug report found in the file BUGTEMPLATE and
mail it to rwerner@clark.net. Be sure to include the vendor and
version numbers for your Xt and Motif libraries, and also for your
operating system. Also, attach your test program to the bug report,
and any workaround or fix you have found.

I'll try to fix all identified bugs. If you need rapid service, your
best bet will be to do your own debugging. You might also want to look
for help and advice on the network, in Usenet newsgroups like
comp.windows.x.motif.
