This little program should be very useful. It has several purposes:

	1. It provides a command-line method for reporting problems.
It can be used in shell scripts and filters.

	2. It provides prompts for all required information not provided
on the command-line. This amounts to a simple text-mode
	    method for reporting problems.

	3. It is also a preliminary version of the planned text-mode
interface that would allow problems to be edited, solved,
	    listed, reopened, etc.

Lemme know what you think.

If you don't like the interactive interface you should be able to
write a more friendly wrapper in your favorite shell.

Also, building an e-mail filter as a wrapper for newprob should be
a "piece o' pie"... However, if you do this, be aware that there
are numerous subtle and not-so-subtle problems with allowing
e-mail to be placed automatically into the PTS database.
Not only could someone on the Internet mail-bomb you, they could
fill up your database with garbage -- garbage that is highly
visible to your users and which could essentially destroy
your PTS database by making it unusable. Be careful, there are
numerous other wrinkles.
